Camping Moulin de chaules General Terms and Sales Conditions (in effect on 01/10/2023)

The rental of a pitch or rental accommodation implies full acceptance of the sales conditions by the contracting parties.

The customer hereby declares that he/she has read and understood these terms and conditions before confirming his/her reservation.

1. OUR SERVICES AND PRICES

Rental of pitches:

We will provide you with an empty pitch, for up to 6 people, on which you can set up your tent, caravan or motor home.

Depending on the campsite, we offer pitches of different types and sizes (see the descriptions in the brochure or on the website).

Pitch fee: Rates are calculated per night of stay. Pitches are available from 3 pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated before 11 am on the day of departure. The fixed fee covers: a tent, caravan

or motor home, 1 or 2 people and a vehicle. This fixed fee gives you free access to the shower blocks and toilets, the reception area, the swimming pool (during opening dates), and the game areas and

entertainment activities.

Supplements: Additional people (adults or children) or items occupying the pitch (second vehicle, animals, electricity supply, extra tent, etc.) will be the subject of a daily supplement.

Rental of accommodation:

The descriptions, definitions of rental seasons, and duration and periods of rental are detailed in the brochure and on the website.

The rental fee covers: accommodation rental, the people in the accommodation (according to capacity), ancillary costs (water, gas, electricity) , a vehicle, access to the services at reception, the swimming

pool (during opening dates), the games area and entertainment activities.

Accommodation is fully equipped. Only sheets and bed linen are not supplied but can be rented on some campsites. Your accommodation must be returned clean and in its original condition at your departure.

Accommodation is non-smoking.

Accommodation is available from 4 pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated before 10 am on the day of departure.

On the weekends outside of July and August, we can allow departure in the afternoon rather than at 10 am.

Transfer and sub-lets: All accommodation rental is nominative and can in no case whatsoever be transferred or sub-let.

For security reasons, the number of people staying in the accommodation must not exceed the number intended, nor that of the capacity of the accommodation or pitch.

N.B: Pitches and rental accommodation are allocated without distinction and in the order in which the bookings are registered and to the optimization of our planning. The management can in no case guarantee that a pitch or accommodation requested by a camper will be allocated to them except when you are payed the extra charge to lock the pitch.

Additional activities:

Any free or paid activity mentioned on our website or in an email can, under certain circumstances, be modified or cancelled on your arrival at the site. We cannot be held responsible in this regard.

Prices and taxes:

The prices on our website or in our brochure are in Euros, inclusive of VAT at the rates in effect at the time of printing. Any changes to rates as well as to the taxes applied to your stay, at the date of invoicing, could affect the

price of your stay.

2. MINORS

We draw your attention to the fact that our establishment does not depend on a holiday and leisure centre within the meaning of Decree No. 2002-883 dated 03 May 2002, and is not adapted to ensure collective stays of minors without their legal representatives. Minors not accompanied by their parents are therefore not accepted on campsites. We reserve the right to refuse access to accommodation under these conditions without having been informed. Please inquire before booking.

3. STAY PAYMENT

Accepted methods of payment

The payment for your holiday can be made by SOFORT , IDEAL, GIROPAY, by cash in Euros, by cheque in Euros, or by bank transfer van chalus bank in French name : camping Moulin de chaules SAS IBAN nr : FR7610186068015064830402987 BIC Number : BCHAFR21 up to 30 days prior to your arrival on the campsite.

Payment conditions :

Reservations only become effective after confirmation by our reservation service and payment by the customer of a deposit of 50% and booking fee (amounts detailed in the brochure and on the website).

Payment for a stay on a Pitch: the balance of your stay should be paid before your arrival at the campsite or on the day of arrival.

Payment for a stay in Rental accommodation: The balance of your stay should be paid, without further reminder from us, 30 days prior to the intended date of arrival in the accommodation or on the day of

arrival if you have not booked in advance.

Payment of the balance: in the event that the balance due is not fully paid on the agreed date, Moulin de chaules Campsites has the right to consider that the customer has cancelled the reservation and retain the amount already paid.

4. SAFETY DEPOSIT

For rental accommodation, a safety deposit of € 200 is required on your arrival at the campsite. This sum will be

returned to you in its totality on the day of your departure or within eight days of the end of your stay, following a satisfactory inventory of your accommodation when you check-out. If this is not the case,

the following will be deducted from your security deposit: the cost of any missing objects, a flat fee for cleaning (at the rate of the cleaning charges in effect at the time of your stay and with a 25% surcharge)

for accommodation that has not been left fully clean, and the cost of repairs in the case of damage caused by the tenant. The customer will pay the costs of any damage above the amount of the deposit after

the deposit has been deducted

5. STAY CHANGES

This change must be requested at least 7 days before the start of the initial stay, in writing (email, fax or mail) to be validated.Any request to increase the duration of your stay will be processed by us according to our availability.Any request for a reduction in the duration of stay is considered by our establishment as a partial cancellation and will be subject to the cancellation terms referred to in Chapter 7.

6. LATE ARRIVAL / EARLY DEPARTURE

In the absence of a written message from the camper specifying that they have had to change the dates of their arrival, the pitch or accommodation will be considered available and unoccupied 24 hours after the intended arrival date specified in the rental contract, and the full payment of the services must still be made.

No reduction will be given in the case of early departure (see possibilities for refunds through cancellation insurance).

7. STAY CANCELLATION

Cancellation on the part of Camping Moulin de chaules: the amount already paid will be refunded.

Cancellation on the part of the customer: the customer should give the campsite written notice. If this is not the case, the customer will be required to pay the amount due in their contract.

According to article L. 121-20-4 – 2° of the Consumer’s Code, the right to withdraw does not apply to accommodation, transport, catering or leisure services provided on a specific date or for a specific period.

Cancellation of a stay in rental accommodation:

For all stays cancelled more than 30 days before the date of arrival, the amounts paid, booking fees and any payment of cancellation insurance shall be withheld by the campsite. Less than 30 days before the

arrival or if the customer does not come to the campsite for their holiday, the total costs of the accommodation, booking fees and the costs of any cancellation insurance are considered due to the campsite

and will be retained.

Cancellation of a pitch:

Cancellation of a stay on a pitch: whatever the date of cancellation, the amounts paid, booking fees will be retained by the campsite.

To obtain possible compensation, we suggest that you sign up for cancellation insurance or holiday interruption insurance at the time of booking. In the case of cancellation for a reason covered by your

insurance, this will allow you to obtain a partial or total refund on the cost of your stay, according to the conditions indicated in your insurance contract.

8. INTERNAL REGULATIONS

Any camper is obliged to comply with the rules of the campsite under penalty of penalty up to the termination of the contract. We would like to thank you for reading it upon your arrival on the sign at the entrance to the campsite..

9. SPECIAL OFFERS / LAST MINUTE DEALS

In these cases, some customers may have paid a different price for the same stay. The difference between the price actually paid and the special offer price will in no case be paid back to the customers who paid the higher amount. Discounts can in no case be combined with any other promotional offers.

10. CLAIMS / DISPUTES

We are at your disposal throughout your stay to listen and try to respond to your complaints, to resolve the dysfunctions observed, do not hesitate to come and see us as soon as an incident occurs.

11. PETS

Pets (except category 1 and 2) are accepted on our premises upon presentation of their vaccination book upon arrival. They must never remain unattended, they must be kept on a leash and must comply with hygiene rules and all facilities. They are not allowed in the sanitary facilities, swimming pool and playground.

12. RESPONSIBILITY

We remind you that the liability of our establishment cannot be incurred in the event of loss, theft, or deterioration of personal effects in the establishment as much in the rental, the locations, the common premises, the parking. It is up to holidaymakers to take out holiday insurance in order to guarantee any damage. Camping Moulin de Chaules declines any responsibility in the event of theft, loss or deterioration due to bad weather, fire or vandalism. Each tenant in title is responsible for disturbances and nuisances caused by persons staying with or visiting him.

13. IMAGE / PERSONAL DATA

You authorize Camping Moulin de Chaules or any other persons we would hire to photograph, record or film you during your stay and to exploit said images, sounds or videos and recordings on all media (especially on the website, brochures, or social networks of the campsite Moulin de Chaules. This authorization applies to you and the persons staying with you. Its sole purpose is to ensure the promotion and animation of the campsite and will not in any case harm your reputation. This authorization granted free of charge for an indefinite period.The information you give us during your order will not be passed on to any third party. This information is only used for the treatment of your stay.In accordance with the Data Protection Act, you have the right to access, rectify and object to your personal data.
